Unmaze is a captivating visual novel that takes inspiration from Greek mythology, offering an immersive and thought-provoking experience. You have the opportunity to guide Asterion and Theseus through a challenging maze, where your choices directly impact their fate.

The game introduces a unique gameplay mechanic, utilizing your phone's light sensor. By placing your phone in light or shade, you can communicate with either Asterion or Theseus. However, beware that helping one character may result in the other becoming lost. Your cunning, wisdom, perseverance, and skill will be put to the test as you navigate dangerous obstacles and uncover the secrets of the labyrinth.

Unmaze allows you to play the first chapter for free, providing approximately one hour of gameplay. If you wish to continue the adventure, you can unlock the full game through an in-app purchase.

Featuring an enthralling storyline with eight alternative endings, the game offers a contemporary adaptation of the myth of the Minotaur and the labyrinth. As you progress through five chapters and explore ten mazes, you will be captivated by a rich universe filled with twists and turns.

The atmosphere of Unmaze is dark and mesmerizing, further immersing you in the story. The interactive fable is brought to life through the collaborative efforts of Frédéric Jamain and Nicolas Pelloile-Oudart, written alongside Thomas Cadène, the acclaimed author of comics such as Summer, Fluid, and Alt-Life.
